The initial 52 names were chosen in consultation with 18 Dutch organizations after an extensive selection process involving multiple sessions. In that process, we sought to achieve national and international representation on the basis of both diversity and inclusivity. The final list was agreed upon unanimously by all parties involved. To reach agreement, we had to make a number of difficult choices and no doubt overlooked a number of deserving candidates in the process. The list is the outcome of this particular process involving this particular constellation of people. We would like to thank:
