On 8 July, Pride 2026 does not begin with a stage, but with a walk.
From the Dam to the Homomonument lie 53 bronze tiles, each dedicated to a hero who helped shape our LGBTQIA+ history. Together they form the Walk of Pride Amsterdam: a unique and permanent monument in the heart of the city.
On Wednesday 8 July 2026, the Walk of Pride Amsterdam will be officially opened as part of the opening ceremony of Pride 2026. You can be there and be the first to walk the route.
