Alje Klamer

In the early 1960s, Alje Klamer, a Dutch Reformed radio pastor from Hilversum, took up the cause of homosexual members of Christian congregations. In doing so, he broke a major taboo. In addition to lending them an ear, he advocated for their support, care, and recognition.
