Alfred Kinsey was een Amerikaanse wetenschapper die bekend werd om zijn onderzoek naar menselijke seksualiteit. Hij toonde aan dat seksualiteit niet binair en vaststaand is, maar dat er gradaties zijn tussen ‘exclusief heteroseksueel’ en ‘exclusief homoseksueel’.
